There is a limited number of parking spaces available in the hotel garage. We are happy to recommend the Claramatte parking garage, which is a 5-minute walk from the hotel. The daily rate at the parking garage is 30 francs.

From Basel SBB Station, you can reach our hotel by tram. From the “Rheingasse” stop, it’s a 1-minute walk. The following lines go to Barfüsserplatz: Tram 8 toward “Kleinhüningen” or Tram 8 toward “Weil am Rhein”.

We recommend the "EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg (BSL)" airport, which is located just outside the city of Basel. From there, take bus number 50 toward Basel, SBB Station, and follow the "Train" directions above.

Which room category is best suited for families?

The River Junior Suite can accommodate up to 4 guests. For those seeking more privacy and separate bedrooms, the Family Two-Bedroom Suite is an excellent choice.

Which rooms have a balcony?

All River Double Rooms with a balcony feature a small balcony. The River Double Rooms and the River Junior Suites offer a view of the Rhine through a window.

What is the best way to get there, and where can I park my car?

By train: From Basel SBB station, take the tram to our hotel; from the "Rheingasse" stop, it’s a 1-minute walk. The following lines go to Barfüsserplatz: Tram 8 toward “Kleinhüningen,” Tram 8 toward “Weil am Rhein.” By car: We recommend parking at the "Steinen" parking garage at Steinenschanze 5 in Basel. From there, it’s only about a 5-minute walk (300 meters) to the hotel. The daily rate at the parking garage is 25 francs.

What is a Basel Card? How much does it cost? Can I get one in advance?

Overnight guests in Basel enjoy exclusive benefits, including free travel on buses and trams, as well as discounted cultural attractions. A visitor’s tax of 4.20 francs per person per night is due during your stay and entitles you to receive the Basel Card.
