No, but there are several fitness centers nearby.

No, but for good reason: According to the Energy Act (EnG) of the Canton of Basel-Stadt, the installation of air conditioning systems is prohibited.
Which room category is best suited for families?
The River Junior Suite can accommodate up to 4 guests. For those seeking more privacy and separate bedrooms, the Family Two-Bedroom Suite is an excellent choice.
Which rooms have a balcony?
All River Double Rooms with a balcony feature a small balcony. The River Double Rooms and the River Junior Suites offer a view of the Rhine through a window.
What are the main differences between the room categories?
The room categories differ mainly in terms of the view, room size, and the type and size of the beds. In addition, some rooms have a small balcony.
What is the best way to get there, and where can I park my car?
By train: From Basel SBB station, take the tram to our hotel; from the "Rheingasse" stop, it’s a 1-minute walk. The following lines go to Barfüsserplatz: Tram 8 toward “Kleinhüningen,” Tram 8 toward “Weil am Rhein.”
By car: We recommend parking at the "Steinen" parking garage at Steinenschanze 5 in Basel. From there, it’s only about a 5-minute walk (300 meters) to the hotel. The daily rate at the parking garage is 25 francs.
When can I check in? When is the latest I can check out? And can I leave my luggage with you if I arrive before check-in time?
Check-in is guaranteed from 3:00 PM, while check-out should take place by 12:00 PM at the latest. If you arrive before the official check-in time and your room is not yet ready, we offer complimentary luggage storage.
What is a Basel Card? How much does it cost? Can I get one in advance?
Overnight guests in Basel enjoy exclusive benefits, including free travel on buses and trams, as well as discounted cultural attractions. A visitor’s tax of 4.20 francs per person per night is due during your stay and entitles you to receive the Basel Card.
